Define: Prism

prism [/'prizəm/] n. 1. a solid geometric figure whose two end faces are similar, equal and parallel rectilinear figures, and whose sides are parallelograms. 2. a controversial electronic surveillance system capable of generating surprising levels of surprise. See Echelon (arch.)
